Along a two-kilometer stretch of pristine coastline, bordering the Indian Ocean and with the stunning Hajjar mountain range in the background, lies a surprising oasis of lush green grass, adorned with bunkers, water hazards and natural dunes . Al Mouj Golf's 18-hole course is Oman's first links-style course and offers amateurs and professionals a challenging yet rewarding golf.
Greg Norman, after having carefully studied the topography of the territory, has created a course with truly unique characters, with each hole being different from the other. His intent was to make the ocean panorama and the spectacular view of the Hajjar mountains an integral part of the camp. On a clear day it almost feels like you can touch them.

This iconic course, designed by famed British golfer Bill Logmuir, is nestled in a wadi with the spectacular Al Hajar Mountains framing it. Located in the heart of Muscat, with narrow fairways and sea views, it is a challenge for all skill levels. The layout of the course follows the morphology of the terrain, and being modeled within the classic Omani valley offers the golfer narrow fairways and challenging greens.
After breakfast we leave for Nizwa, which was the capital of Oman in the sixth and seventh centuries and whose splendor of the time still lives today. The city was and still is an important commercial, cultural and religious center. Nizwa, renowned for being one of the most important cities of Islamic culture, is home to the famous Round Tower, a fort built in the seventeenth century. With the guided tour you can let yourself be enchanted by the town and its lively Souq where you can admire finely hand-carved silver ornaments and jewels.
Continue in the direction of Jabrin where a visit to one of the most fascinating fortresses in Oman, the Bahla Fort, a World Heritage Site, is scheduled. The fortress is nestled within the ancient village that surrounds it, consisting of fantastic palm trees and buildings of traditional architecture.
On the way back to Muscat, visit the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz located at the bottom of the hills of Jebel Akhdar, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk through its oasis surrounded by dense date plantations.
Return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Wahiba Sands, a vast desert area of red and white sand dunes that rise up to 200 meters and are also home to a great variety of fauna. The landscapes that this place offers are a delight for photography lovers. During the excursion you will also have the opportunity to visit a traditional Bedouin house located in this beautiful desert.
In stark contrast to this scenario, the day continues towards Wadi Bani Khalid which is home to small and pretty villages nestled in the mountains. It is one of the most beautiful and picturesque wadis in the country. An oasis in the desert made up of natural swimming pools that gather in the middle of the rock formations with steep walls, surrounded by lush vegetation. The mountains with their many shades of brown, in contrast with the green water of the swimming pools, create an incredibly evocative and dreamlike scenario.

Muscat offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial hub coexist in harmony with its traditional culture. the city owes its name to its natural port, Muscat in fact means "anchorage" and rises inside a natural volcanic basin.
The tour includes a visit to the Great Mosque and the Bait Al Zubair Museum which retraces the stages of the country's history and development. You will then walk along the waterfront to reach the lively fish market located in the heart of the colorful Muttrah Souk.
The day will end with a photo stop at the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official palace of her Majesty Sultan Qaboos, with the Mirani and Jalali forts in the background, which offers a real One Thousand and One Nights scenario!
