Designed by the famous golf player Bernhard Langer, the golf club is accessible to players of all levels. The course covers 38 hectares on the southern half of the Ile aux Cerfs island with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island, boasting naturally undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a variety of tropical trees and plants.

Tamarina is situated in the area of Tamarin on the west coast of the island. Open since November 2006, Tamarina Golf Club forms part of the Tamarina Intergrated Resort Scheme (IRS). 119 exclusive villas have been built on the estate of 206 hectares, which intergrates a golf course of 43 hectares and a 50 rooms Boutique Hotel on the beach side. The golf course is a 18 hole Championship par 17, measuring 6,886 meter long from the Professional tees. 5 different teeing options are available on every hole. Tamarina has standard 4 x par 3's and 4 x par 5's with remaining 10 holes are par 4's.
